At Studio Seed, we love bringing people together and creating that social connection. It is one of our core beliefs that sharing, connecting, and socialising can greatly improve our overall well being. Our workshops are created in honour of this belief and seek to provide group and community experiences that will restore you. These workshops vary in activity and intensity but all share one common goal - allowing you the time and space to reconnect with the world around you as well as what's within.

Our team thoroughly believes that social connection is integral to the Studio Seed experience and we are so proud of the beautiful community we have built here. And at the end of the day, we believe the best memories are those made with others.

Beginners Yoga Series

8 WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES

MONDAY, 18TH MARCH, 6.30PM

Welcome to an 8 week beginners series to cover all the basics. In Yoga we stretch, strengthen, align & integrate our physical body, our physiology & our mind. Let’s help demystify this practice & give you confidence to step onto your mat in any class. Our 8 weeks will be broken down as follows:

Week One: Building the base - Before we move, we need to breathe.

Week Two: Standing Your Ground - Standing pose essentials

Week Three: Finding Your Centre - Using your Core

Week Four: Igniting the Fire - Exploring  the mechanics of backbends

Week Five: Turning Upside Down - Easy inversions for rejuvenating

Week Six: Surrendering - Calming forward folds

Week Seven: Finding a Flow - Putting it all together

Week Eight: Resting - the sweet sensation of doing nothing. Guided meditation

Rituals Workshop

EVENT PASSED

Together we join in a small group and open our rituals with a warm mug of ceremonial cacao, followed by a brief journalling release. We then gently guide the body through a series of restorative stretches designed to release tension. To conclude we melt the body into the mat as we guided into savasana by meditation and chimes. This savasana is paired with a scalp massage to ensure the body and soul float out and into your weekend.

Chapter One - Beginners Day Retreat

SATURDAY, 23RD MARCH, 10AM - 2:30PM

Our beginners day retreat, because we believe that regardless of where you are in life, a new chapter can always be started.

This retreat is designed for, and will be best enjoyed by beginners. Keeping the day simple, our focus is to not overwhelm but to nourish you and your soul.  

We will begin the retreat with self awareness, mindfulness practices to help you align with yourself and find your why.  From there, we will move into a gentle reformer class where we end with deep stretches.

A nourishing whole foods lunch will then be served and enjoyed with the class. During this meal, our amazing cook will talk you through some simplified nutrition tips.

We end the day with an introduction to breath work, yoga and meditation.  During the meditation, you will be provided with an acupressure foot and scalp massage
